Criteria

Structure: We are equity investors but can creatively structure our investments in the form of debt or other types of securities.

Investment Amount: We initially invest between $5 million and $15 million in platform companies that ideally offer additional equity investment opportunities over time. We are able to complete much larger transactions.

Company Size: EBITDA range of $2 million - $15 million.

Geography: In order to remain in close contact with management, we focus on businesses with head offices within three hours travel from Toronto. We do not have any geographical restrictions for follow-on investments for existing portfolio companies.

Ownership Interest: We prefer to be majority investors. However, we will acquire significant minority interests where we are aligned with management and other shareholders.
